Senior Materials Planner

Job Description

• Plans materials requirements to support build schedule
• Ensures parts quantity are at optimum level while minimizing obsolescence and end of line exposure
• Reviews and maintains planning parameters to ensure accuracy in MRP demand planning
• Tracks, highlights and expedites delivery of critical and urgent paets
• Reviews on a daily and weekly basis of materials status with Management
• Analyses and controls inventory level by identifying opportunities for inventory reduction
• Resolves and works down problematic non-moving inventory

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management / Business Administration
• Minimum 5 years in Materials Planning and Inventory Management
• Good with numbers and meticulous
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Good communication skills required
