Materials Planner

Job Description

• Plan materials requirements to support the build schedule in HDD server operations
• Ensure parts quantity are at optimum level
• Review and maintain planning parameters so that MRP planning tool generates correct delivery plans to achieve higher usage factor
• Highlight, track and expedite delivery of urgent parts
• Review materials status with Management and worldwide critical materials team on a daily and weekly basis
• Analyze and control inventory inputs, work with problematic non-moving inventory.
• Identify inventory reduction opportunities and minimize materials obsolescence

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Manufacturing/Supply Chain Management
• Minimum 2 years experience in Materials planning and inventory management
• Hands on experience in MRP planning, excel spreadsheets, end user computing skills, planning and forecasting skills
• Ability to communicate well
