As Senior Vice President of Global Human Resources and Administration, and a member of the Executive Committee, John Viera leads Hitachi GST's global initiatives in cross-organizational team development and human capital management. In addition to his human resources responsibilities, he also manages global real estate assets and travel operations. John is based in the company in San Jose, California, headquarters.

A 30-year veteran in Human Resources management, John is exceptionally credentialed in organizational development and training, compensation and benefits management and all aspects of staffing and recruitment. Having held executive-level HR management positions with MAXIMUS, Inc., Strayer Consulting Group and the technology firms of Xerox, KLA Tencor, Octel Communications and Avantek, his accomplishments have defined leadership success, facilitated team building and integrated organizations through periods of acquisition, cultural change and corporate development.

John holds a BS degree in Business Administration from Golden Gate University in San Francisco, and a MS in Counseling Psychology from California State University East Bay.
