Handheld PCs using Windows Pocket PC OS already include controller drivers for Hitachi Microdrive Digital Media products. No additional drivers are required.

For earlier versions of Windows CE, you must download and install a specific version of the atadisk.dll file, depending on your handheld processor type.

1. Identify Processor Type
Windows CE OS lists your processor type in its system information.

  - Click on Start > Settings > System
  - Click on General tab
  - Locate processor type

  or

  - Click on Start > System
  - Click on Device tab
  - Locate processor type

After identifying the correct processor type, download and install its correct driver
